They can be used in log homes, timber frame homes, conventional homes and commercial buildings.

Insulation is a major issue in home and building construction. Some methods regarding providing insulation will not be free. Several insulation approaches may seem like much, but will not likely provide you with the suitable safety you will need for your climate when the house or even developing is found.

I read from somewhere that wool is good as insulators for your home. And cheaper at that. Thanks for this information.

Yes. Log homes are around 25% more energy efficient than brick and stick built homes. That is because logs are a passive energy system. Do an internet search on "thermal mass" and you will learn why.
These insulated panels sounds fantastic. I live in an older home with poor insulation, and I would like to replace it with better insulation. These energy efficient structural insulated panels could be a great option for me.

Hey Ms Susan, You are correct that our SIP panels would be a great product to better insulate your home. However, I believe that the cost would be less if you were to get bids from three conventional contractors. Ask them how they would improve the insulation in your home. Perhaps they can "shoot" an insulation product into your walls less expensively than SIPs would cost. You can also look at your ceilings. We offer a 5-ply space age "foil" product that lays on your ceiling. It will warm your home in the winter and cool you in the summer. Thanks for asking ... jack
