Construction Workshop hosted by Honest Abe Log Home
Saturday June 22, 2007 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Moss, Tennessee

A Construction Workshop for buyers and builders will be conducted by Honest Abe Log Homes. See how-to-do-it and ask questions. Cost is $25.00 per person and that includes lunch and handouts. This is a great program for self builders as well as contractors. You should expect 100 or more people to attend. For more information or to reserve space by pre-registering, contact Jack Hutslar at 800 767-4916 or Jack@LogHomesByJack.com

Moss, Tennessee is located about 450 miles West of Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia as well as the North Carolina Piedmont Triad. From Moss, it is about 90 miles Southwest to all of the glitz and sizzle of Nashville.

On the way to Moss, driving West, there are three model homes in Crossville TN not far beyond Knoxville. See a Frontier and Cordova. Then there are two more model homes at Cookville on Route 11, just North of Route 40. See a Bellewood and Algood. Then you can visit the home office model that shows a variety of materials in the office. The workshop building has more samples. Visitors can walk inside model cabins from our Sportsman Cabin Collection. See the River Bottom and McFarland Creek. A visit to Swan Ridge will provide opportunities to see other models including the Swan Ridge Club House that uses a combination of log and timber frame.

These Honest Abe events usually include a plant tour and a visit to Swan Ridge. Let me know if you would like to make a trip to Moss, Tennessee and the home office of Honest Abe Log Homes.

Price Change Reminder

Honest Abe will have a price change effective July 1, 2007. We never know ahead of time what it will be but it sounds like it may include a bump in shipping charges in addition to what else might change in material costs. A $2500 deposit by the end of June 2007 holds current pricing for material and shipping until the end of 2007 when delivery is to occur. If delivery does not take place by then for some reason, nothing is lost as your deposit will always be applied to the final package price.
