Honest Abe Log and Timber Frame Homes hosted the 2008 Annual Dealer Convention at Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville recently. Sally and I have attended event for the third time. If you have not been to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and enjoyed their three interior atriums, add it to your list. Here are a few highlights from the convention . . .
Well over 100 dealers and their families attended the convention. We were delighted to hear several vendors mention “integrity” as one of the cornerstones of their relationship with the staff at Honest Abe.
It was announced that a new 6x12 D log with dovetail corners is now available along with the economical 6x8 D log. These log styles compliment our selections of 8x8 D and round logs, 6x12 flat logs, 6x10 chinked logs and 10 inch round logs.
Sally and I were honored to receive a Top 5 Dealership Award in 2007 by Honest Abe Log Homes.
Dealers with 25, 50, 75 and 100 sales were identified. Those are phenomenal achievements.
Dinner Friday evening was held on the stage of the new Grand Ole Opry. Honest Abe Log Homes is one of the long time radio sponsors of the Grand Ole Opry. Our speaker for the evening was Ralph Emery, long time radio and television host of numerous programs over the years that focused on the stars at the Music City. His treasury of stories about the celebrities who have graced his stage and studio were memorable.

2007 year end promotion = Savings for you
Jack Hutslar, full time Independent Dealer for Honest Abe Log and Timber Frame Homes announced that Honest Abe introduces a year end promotion. It is a bit complicated but here is the bottom line. We will discount the *log portion* of your material package and the *timber portion* of your timber frame home packages.
A 15% reduction in *logs* or *timbers* is available when delivery is taken before the end of 2007.
A 10% reduction in the *logs* or *timbers* is available when delivery is taken by May 31, 2008.
In order for me to figure out exactly how much you save, I need to prepare an estimate if I have not already worked up one for you. This promotion applies to any new customer for both our log homes and timber frame homes. For example, it saves you over $3,000 on our 2100 sf Aspen model and over $2,700 on our 1800 sf cape cod Darlington.

Honest Abe Log Homes announced a new Fall promotion for all of the Log and Timber Frame home material packages that are purchased before December 31, 2007. Here are the basic details.
First, the current price list that you have will be in effect until September 30, 2008, that is 2008. There will be no year end price change as in the past. That is good news for you and me.
The deadline for taking advantage of this year end promotion is December 31, 2007.
You will receive a 15% reduction in the log portion** of your material package when the material package delivery is taken by December 31, 2007.
You will receive a 10% reduction in the log portion** of your material package when the material package delivery is taken by May 31, 2008.
For customers who are considering our timber frame homes, this 15% and 10% discount promotion applies to the 8x8 post and beam timbers used in the wall system.
The fine print . . .
** The log walls are a portion of that section in your estimate. It is not that entire subtotal.
Remember, that it takes time to get your floor plans drawn, fees paid and material package cut and collected in order for delivery to take place by December 31, 2007 or May 31, 2008.
This discount program applies to material packages totalling $35,000 or more, not counting shipping and sales tax.
