Highly recommended ... The Tank Museum to visit when in the Smith Mountain Lake area or NC Piedmont Triad. Indoors. Plan on spending 3-4 hours walking around, at a minimum. Special events during the year include flame throwers, tank crushing a car, war game tables, remote control tank battles, car show. My photos below just scratch the surface.
